Edfu Temple dedicated to Horus, one of the most important gods in Egyptian mythology. This temple, the second largest after Karnak, will mesmerize you with its grandeur and intricate details. Inside, the columns decorated with images of Hathor and Horus will leave you in awe.
To continue our journey, we will head to Kom Ombo, where you will encounter the unique Kom Ombo Temple. Built to honor both Horus and Sobek, this temple was constructed by Ptolemy VI Philometor in the early 2nd century. Inside the main hall, marvel at the columns containing images of pharaohs and the remains of ancient monuments.
Nearby, you will also have the opportunity to explore some ancient tombs near the village of Kom Ombo.
