We will arrange a private car to pick you up directly from your hotel in Cairo and take you to the charming city of Alexandria, just a three-hour flight from Cairo, making it the second most important city in Egypt.
When we arrive in Alexandria in the morning, our tour will begin by visiting several notable landmarks.
Our first stop will be the Tombs of Kom el Shoqafa, which date back to the Roman era. These catacombs consist of three levels and feature a unique blend of Egyptian and Roman artistic styles in their decoration.
Our tour continues with a visit to the modern Library of Alexandria, an architectural marvel inspired by the ancient god Amun Ra, and the historic Lighthouse of Alexandria. Besides its extensive book collection, the library complex also includes a planetarium, three museums, a laboratory, and a printing house.
Please note that the library is closed on Fridays and Saturdays, but you can still enjoy its exterior.
As we pass by the magnificent Abu Abbas Al-Mursi Mosque, we will marvel at its architectural beauty, which draws its influence from the ancient Egyptian structures found in Cairo.
After our exploration, we’ll pause for a midday break and enjoy lunch at a restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. (Drinks not included).
Before concluding our tour, we will have an outdoor view of Qaitbay Citadel, a defensive fortress built in 1480 by Sultan Qaitbay on the site of the ancient Pharos Lighthouse, providing a glimpse into Alexandria’s rich history.
After the tour, we will return you to your hotel in Cairo, concluding your enriching trip to Alexandria.
